Desire for Secession
WESTRALIA SENDING AN APPEAL HOME. PERTH, Thursday. A Parliamentary select committee recommended the appointment of a nonParliamentary committee to prepare an address to the King, containing _ a statement of the case for secession from the Commonwealth, and applications to both Houses of the Imperial Parliament for legislation to effect the withdrawal of Western Australia from the Federation. The Legislative Council adopted the recommendation.
