Wiley Post Experiences First Major Crack-up
ROUND-THE-WORLD FLIER INJURED IN CRASH.
United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. Received Friday, 7.30 p.m, WASHINGTON, Sept. 21. Wiley Post, holder of the round-the-world flying record, was injured when hia ’plane, the Winnie Mae, crashed while taking-off at Quincy (Illinois). Post’s injuries are painful, but not serious. This is the first major crack-up of his career. The ’plane wag practically wrecked.
