Dollfuss’ Resignation Not Accepted
COMMISSIONERS TO CONTROL INDUSTRY. .United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. VIENNA, Sept. 21. The British United Press says that after a conference finding that the views of the chief supporters of StarItemberg and Winkler were irreconcilable, the Chancellor (Dr. Dollfuss) demanded the resignation of Cabinet, and offered to resign himself, but the President insisted that he remain :n office.
It is officially stated that, though Dr. Dollfuss is directly in command of •the armed forces, his presence in the Cabinet means that he does not possess full dictatorial powers. The new regime provides for the appointment of industrial commissioners throughout Austria, with completo powers.

Dr. Dollfuss’ new Ministers already foreshadow the early creation of an experimental Guild Council similar to the Fascist Grand Council to explore the best basis of introducing the guild legislation system. The Monarchists are openly happy at the turn of events and they assert that five Ministers are overt protagonists of the Hapsburg cause and two others secret Monarchists.
