Komako
From Our Own Correspondent. On Friday night last a successful function took place in 71r. F. Grotrian’s woolshed at Komako in aid of funds tor the Anglican Church. The evening took me form of a tug-of-war and dance. Card players were also catered tor. The walls of the spacious shed were entirely concealed behind generous screenings of greenery, rhododendrons and camellias, and a tastefully adorned alcove, set with carpets and tables and chairs, was set aside tor card players. Supper was served by the ladies, and much praise is duo to Ihe energetic committee which organised proceedings. Dancing continued until an early hour. The church should benefit considerably by the takings.
