Pigeon Racing
The Palmerston North Homing Club flew its first north raeo of the season last Saturday, from Taumarunui, a distance of 102 miles air line. The birds had a following wind and fairly good velocities were recorded. G. Smith’s Live Wire, velocity 13G0.G, I; P. Wills’ Red Day, 1352.22, 2; R. McPherson’s Rod Aero, 1351.75, 3; S. Johnson’s Black Sand, 1343.7 G, 4; D. Thompson’s Blue Mint, 1338.2, 5.
