Cheap Week-end Rail Trip to Hawke's Bay
The Kailway Department announces that the next popular week-end excursion to Napier and other principal Hawke's Bay centres has been arranged for Saturday, September 30. The train will leave Wellington at 6.5 a.m., Shannon 5.45 a.m., Palmerston North 9.18 a.m., arriving at Napier at 1.20 p.m. Return excursion train will leave Napier at a p.m. on Sunday, October 1, but excursionists may stay the full week-end and return by the Napier-Wellington express on Monday, October 2.
The early running on Saturday has been arranged in order to arrive in Napier in ample time to ensure excursionists viewing the representative football match, Hawke’s Bay v. Wellington.
