Feilding Anglers’ Club
ANNUAL MEETING. Tho eighth annual meeting of the Feilding Anglers’ Club was held last ovening, Mr F. 11. Stoekwoll (president) presiding. Visitors were present from Palmorston North, Woodville, and Pahiatua. In moving the adoption of tho report and balance-sheet, the chairman referred to the success of the past season, and said that the prospects for the coming season wero most promising, good reports having been received from all parts of the district. The following officers wero elected: President, Mr W. J.’ Alpe; vice-presi-dent, Mr S. W. J. Brown; committee, Messrs A. T. Legge, R. Clark, N. Rosoman, F. H. Stockwell, and E. Ingram; secretary and treasurer, Mr P. P. Stevens.
The following donations to the club were announced: —Messrs F. H. Stockwell, £1 Is; N. Rosoman, 10s 6d; and W. J. Alpe a trophy. The donors were accorded a hearty vote of thanks. The membership fees were fixed as follows: Seniors ss, juniors under 18 years 2s Gd. A social gathering followed the completion of the business, at which the trophies won during the season were presented. Musical items were rendered by Messrs. H. Dewe, N. G. Harding, H. B. Gray, J. Kendall, and J\ H. Thompson.
