Boy Scout Movement Should be Encouraged
APPEAL TO FEILDING CITIZENS. Particular attention is directed to an advertisement appearing in this issue notifying that the annual meeting of citizens in connection with the Feilding Boy Scout movement takes place tonight. The gathering is to bo held in the Manchester street school, commencing at 7.30. During tho year several public-spirited young men and -women devote much of their time to the training of our Scouts and Cubs, and at. the annual meeting parents are given an opportunity to express their appreciation of these gratuitous services. On this occasion Miss Nancy Wilson, of Bulls, Dominion Akela leader, is to give an address on her trip amongst the Scouts in tho Homeland, whilo the usual reports and elctcion of committeo will bo dealt with. It is to be hoped that our citizens will respond to this invitation and encourago by their presence one of onr most valuable youth movements.
