Meeting of Willard Home Board

Mrs E. A. Collins presided over the monthly meeting of the Willard Homo Board, which was held on Monday aftornoon. Also presont were Mcsdamcs E. Birdsall (secretary), T. R. Hodder, F. J. Nathan, E. C. Barnett, G. H. Bennett, A. Gibbs, J. McConnon, D. Watson, C. F. Spooner, M. Aitchison, Grcig, Mi3s McLagan and Miss Moore. Apologies were voiced for MesdnmosJ. A. McLcavcy, D. Lovelock, K. McDonald and J. Belt. The usual routine business was transacted. The matron (Miss Anderson) reported that everything at tho homo was satisfactory. The children . wero all homo for the holidays. Repairs authorised at tho last meeting had been effected. The matron requested that attention bo paid to a defective chimney. The secretary and. the consultative committee had made inquiries and had the chimney examined and their action was endorsed, tho work of alteration to bo put in. hand at once. Tho secretary roported that the recent social afternoon had roturned over £5 clear. Mcsdamcs Barnett and Gibbs were selected as tho visiting committee for the month. The following committees wero appointed: Consultative: Mesdames Hodder, Nathan, McConnon and . the chairwoman and secretary. Functions. Mesdames Aitchison, Bott, McDonald, Lovelock.
