Next Saturday there will be a Cloram cup match. Meeting of Committee Mr Woods, president of the club, presided at a meeting of the committee held on Saturday evening, when . there was a good attendance. It was decided to shelve the trophies for the. months of September and October ow-i ing to farming operations preventingJ, some riflemen from taking part in thecompetitions. i Tho secretary was empowered to' handicap riflemen until the next an-j nual meeting. ; The club being in a strong financial! position, it was decided to provide trophies during September and October for a competition of eight shoots, five to count, matches consisting of seven! shots over ranges of 300 and 500 1 yards on the first Saturday, and over] 500 and GOO yards on the second Sat-; urday.
