New Design of Passenger Aeroplane
BIG LOAD AND HIGH SPEED. LONDON, Aug. 17. Messrs. Armstrong Whitworth are building Britain’s fastest large passenger aeroplane as the result of the successful survey of the Australian airmail route. The new machine, an improved version of the Atltnta type, carries twenty passengers and a full load of freight and mail. The maximum speed exceeds 160 miles an hour with a load of 23,0001 b.
