His address was given on the ticket as 53 Richmond street, Petone, who two reporters who called theroat different times on Saturday afternoon were told that Gladstone did not live there, A further reporter who visited the house to-day was informed that Gladstone was a friend at present unemployed. He had paid a fleeting visit to the house since the news of his success had been announced and had made a request that his whereabouts be concealed. He is believed to be one of a syndicate holding tho ticket, although tho ticket was taken out in his name.
