WELLINGTON SOCIETY’S FINE ACHIEVEMENT Per Press Association WELLINGTON, Last Night. With 3700 entries, believed to bo a world’s record for such festivals, the Vvellington Competitions Society’s 10th annual festival opened a two weeks’ season in the Town Hall on Saturday very auspiciously. A good start with the lengthy programme was made. Ronald Tremaine (Feilding) was highly commended in the recitation for boys under 12.
