PERSONALITIES
Mr. W. A. Eobinson, chairman of the Anglo-Continental Produco Company, has been ro-olected chairman of the New Zealand Dairy Produce Importers' Association for the Ilth consecutive year, states a London message. Guest 3 at the Hotel Imperial include: Mr. W. Woolven (Hamilton), Mr. Clarke (Auckland), Mr. Thompson (Napier), Mr. A. Logan (Pukekohe), Mr. Shand (Wellington), Mr. and Mrs. McLean (Auckland), Mr. Leggett (Poverty Bay). Mr. H. N. Watson, of Palmerston North, was re-elected president at the annual meeting of the Manawatu Lawn Tennis Association. In moving the nomination, Mr. J. T. McDonald stated that Mr. AVatson had the interest of the game at heart and was always ready and willing to do all possiblo for the furtherance of tho association. Mr. AVatson has held tho office for the past seven years.
Mr. C. V. Green, manager of the Golden Bay dairy factory, Takaka, Nelson, has been appointed manager of the Eangitikei Dairy Company, thcro being some 50 applicants for the position. Mr. Green, who served as buttermakor at tho Eangitikei factory under the late Mr. James Smillie, has done very well during the fivo years ho has been with tho Golden Bay Company, and his appointment to the Bulls factory is hailed on all sides as a very sound move on the part of the directors.
