A ploasant party was given by Mts. 3. Haigh, of Woodvillc, on Thursday w’hon a numbor of friends met to farewell Miss Tj orman, who with Mrs. Tyerman, intends leaving for Wanganui to take up residence there. Aftor a dainty afternoon tea had been partaken of, Mrs. Haigh, in a few words, asked Miss Tyerman’s acceptance of a supper set as a small token of her friends’ love and esteem. Miss Tyerman suitably replied. Mrs. Tyerman is at prosont visiting Dnnnovirke.
