Cheese Factories to Protect Their Interests
DISTRICT ASSOCIATION formed
A meeting of representatives of the following factories, Tui, Makowhai, 'Ash hurst, Tokomaru, Taikorea, Bainesse, Rangiotu, Taikitahuna and Oroua Downs, was held in Palmerston North on Thursday last, when it was decided to form an association to be called the Manawatu and West Coast Association, with a view to watching the interests of the cheese factories in the district.
The following were appointed a committee to obtain information several subjects that came up for discussion at the meeting: Messrs. F. C. Bailees (chairman), Kilpatrick, Algar, J. B. Whyte and J. Bryce. Mr. C. Massey was appointed secretary pro tern.
