. From Our Own Correspondent. In the ping pong match arranged for last Saturday, Pohanglha B defaulted to Tiakltahuna B. Great success attended the Tiakltahuna Ping Pong Club’s dance held last Wednesday evening. Favoured by fine weather, the attendance was very good and a most enjoyable time was spent by all present. The hall was artistically decorated with coloured streamers and looked most attractive. Excellent music was supplied by a professional orchestra** extras being played by Mrs Amadfo and Miss Jeffrey. A spot waits was won by "Miss Hearsey and Mr S. Richardson and a Monto Carlo by Miss Palento and Mr'Fisher. During the evening/ songs by Mrs Amadlo and 'Messrs Hemmlngsen and.. Cave were much " appreciated. a dainty supper.was served by the committee and dapclng was continued until a Jpe hour.' ' On Wednesday afternoon. Mrs -N. P. Nielsen ‘and Mrs D. Buchanan attended the*Home Industries Day held at Linton .Women’s.. Institute where they judged the needlework and Home Industries sections.-
