From Our Own Correspondent. Friday evening Just lire Kakariki school committee and Tennis Club held another most successful euchre party and dance. Visitors from Fcilding, Alarton and surrounding districts enjoyed a very pleaasnt evening. Dancing was carried .on. till the early hours. The music was supplied by local talent. An old-time waltz competition was won by Air. and Airs. White, the statue waltz by Air. E. Morrison and Aliss G. Blunden, and the spot waltz by Aliss J. Blundcn and partner. Air. 11. Blunden was AI.C. and kept things moving joyfully. The successful players of the euchre were Airs. George, Airs. Blows, Air. J. Bush and Air. J. Bevan. The chairman (Air. T. Alason) thanked the many folks for their patronage and help and hoped to sen them all in a fortnight's time. .

•Airs. W. B. Paulding, Haleombe, is spending a week in Wellington. Airs. G. Burgess, of Haleombe, js visiting her relations in Huntcrvillc.
