A Talented Young Planist.
1 J Miss Jocelyn Walker, the eleven-year-old daughter of Mr and Mrs L. C. Walker, of Wellington, has been awarded the examiner's prize for tho 1932 higher division, having obtained the highest marks given dm the North Island. At tho age of eight years this promising young pianist was successful in gaining the highest marks in the preparatory examination. At the age of nine sho headed tho list for the lower division, and at ton years gained highest marks in the junior examination, this latter award carrying with it an exhibition prize of six guineas and a gold medal.
