Messrs Levin and Co., Ltd., have received tho following cable from their London agents, dated June 23, 1933: — Frozen meat quotations (prices on a “delivered basis, i.e., including storage charges, cartage, market tolls, etc.) : —- North Island Down lambs, 2S/36ibs, 7!d per lb; 3G/42, 7d per lb. Best North Island crossbred lambs, 2S/3Glbs., 7d per lb.; 36/42, G 7-8 d per lb. North Island second quality lambs, average 30/311bs, 6,{d per lb. Best North Island wether sheep under 4Slbs, 5 l-8d per lb.; 4S/5G lbs., 4 3-Sd per lb; 56/04 lbs., 3Jd per lb.; 04/72 lbs., old per lb. North Island ewes under 48 lbs., 3 5-Sd per lb.; 4/56 lbs, 3Jd per lb; 56/64 lbs., 3d per lb; 64/72 lbs, 2 7-Sd per lb. New Zealand prime ox beef 160/200 lbs., 2 3-Sd per lb. Compared with last week’s quotations, Down lamb l-8d higher. Crossbred lamb 28/3G lbs. I-8d per lb. higher; 36/42 lbs. per lb higher. Second quality lamb 1-Sd per lb. higher. Wethers under 4S lbs. 5-Sd per lb. higher; 3S/5G lbs. Jd per lb. higher. Ewes under 50 lbs. and 64/72 lbs. 1-8 per lb. higher. Market quiet but steady.
