Institute for the Blind
(To the Editor.) Sir, -May I, through your columns, express to “Mrs. L. A. Abraham, her helpers, the Show executive and the public, our warm thanks for the splendid sales of Blind Institute goods at the recent Show. These amounted altogether to over £OO. This, is a splendid contribution in these difficult days to our blind men and women. The Government subsidy has been entirely withdrawn, and subscriptions have fallen substantially, so that the maintenance of our establishment is all the more dependent upon the selling of our wares, —I am, etc., CLUTHA N. MACKENZIE. Director N.Z. Institute for tho Blind.
