Raising of School Age
Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, June 22. A report presented at this morning’s meeting of tho Otago Education Board on school attendance for the first term revealed that tho district roll number had fallen from 20,157 to 18,130. l‘he Chairman remarked that the raising of the school age almost wholly accounted for this and by the end of tho year there would be a big reduction in staffs.
