Charity Ball
Last, year the Charity Ball was a decidedly “spectacular affair and 1600 people attended. The Relief Committee, assisted by 50 ladies and gentlemen, are at present busy organising for the second ball 1o be held on inday, July 7. On this occasion the arrangements provide for tho dance in the entertainment hall, % drawing room in the adjoining produce hall and a further provision for sitting out in.the large implement tin 11. The decorations •wilt be most elaborate and the supper will be a special feature. Tickets at 5s are now obtainable from any member of the committee. It will be the greatest night’s entertainment ever presented.
