Winter Show Takings

YESTERDAY’S FIGURES I Tlio Sliow takings yesterday amounted to £245 0/1 compared with £275 5/9 for the third day in 1932. The gates were up £l7 at 5 o'clock, but unfortunately fell by comparison in the evening. The total receipts for tho three days amount to £B7O 3/11 as against £lllO 17/1 for tho corresponding period last yoar. This means that a decrease of £240 is revealed although attention is drawn to the fact that it is only £126 less than the 1931 Show. The attendance including children, yesterday was 5159 compared with 7728 for 1932, this substantial increase in numbers present being duo to the large number of children patronising the fixture yesterday.
