The joint Manchukuo and Japanese (Operations, according to Peiping messages, have now extended into Charliar. The Manchukuo troops, commanded by General Liuk Wei-tang arcattacking Dolonor from western Jchol, •while 1000 Japanese, with 10 fieldguns, are advancing from the Utan district on Charhar.
Relieving Material Losses
GRANT BY JAPANESE GOVERNMENT
Received Wednesday, 8 p.m. TOKYO, Mar. 15.
The Government has assigned three million yen to the relief of material losses by foreigners and Japanese suffered during the Shanghai and Manchurian incidents.
U.S. and Arms Embargo
WASHINGTON, Mar. 14,
The Government has informed Britain that it will pre'ss for legislation permitting the President to declare an arms embargo against any nation in the world.
