Feilding Schools’ Swimming Sports

HELD IN FINE WEATHER JUVENILES MOST ENTHUSIASTIC The two public schools in Feilding decided their swimming Sports at tie Municipal baths in glorious weather, the Manchester Street gathering talcing place on Tuesday afternoon and tie Lytton Street yesterday afternoon. The children wore never more enthusiastic for the water and thoroughly enjoyed the contests. The following are the details: — Manchester Street. Tom Dewe, the Manawatu primary schools' champion, had no difficulty rn winning both the senior and junior championships and the breaststroke championship. In the senior championship Taces the points won were: Tom Dewe 30, Eric Neil S, Arthur Dewe 7, Brett Carmine 4, Trevor Gill 3, Cyril Jones 3. Junior boys' points: Tom Dewe 20, Norman Green S, Keith Cocker 2, Cameron Ewen 3, Brett Harding 2, Len Ryniker I.
