Grocers' Dispute Before Conciliation Council
CHAIN STORES GIVEN REPRESENTATION

WELLINGTON, Last Night,
When the grocers’ dispute opened before the Conciliation Council, a claim -that tho chain storo proprietors should have representation was made. After considerable argument, Mr. D. Mount, one of tho Master Grocers’ assessors, offered to withdraw, and Mr. B. Sutherland was appointed to fill the vacancy on behalf of the chain stores. Before the Council resumes to-morr-ow a conference of tho two sections of employers will be held in an endeavour to settle existing differences.
