DAMAGE TO Y.M.C.A. CAMP HALL. A visitor from the Palmerston North Y.M.C.A. recently made the discovery that the hall at Camp Pohangina had been entered and a considerable amount of damage done. Tho intruders had evidently obtained entrance by shattering one of the windows, and had played havoc with the contents of the hall. Games, books, and kitchen utensils had been rifled from tho cupboards, and were scattered in profusion on the floor. Forms used to provide seating had also been knocked about, and in some cases were broken, The most regrettable feature was that tho walls of the buildiug had been defaced by the marauders scribling on them a particularly mean act. It is unfortunate that some people should have so little regard for the property of others, as to commit such an uncalled-for act. In view of the fact that a similar entrance was made prior to the camp at Christmas time, it would appear that tho act was ono of deliberate mischief, and it is to be hoped that the offenders will bo brought to book. The Y.M.C.A. authorities are prepared to take steps for discovering their identity.
