On Thursday a cricket team from Bongotea journeyed to Pohangina, where a one-innings match, was played with the local eleven. A pleasant afternoon was spent, the visitors being the winners by a comitvtablo margin. Afternoon tea was provided by the ladies of the district. Following are the scores:—
