Gay Studio Dance Provides Pleasure
Charming surroundings, an excellent floor and cheerful company combined to make the first dance of the season held in Miss Gwon Gibbs’ studio last evening a very pleasant affair. The new decorations of the pretty studio were much admired, with curtains and chair coverings in a soft shade of green and pleated frills of gay chintz, while artistic shades softened tho lights. An archway at the ontranee was trellised with roses and delicate ferns and in tall stands were bulrushes and pampas grass, making a most attractive setting for the dancers. A crowd of young people thoroughly enjoyed the dancing and eulogised the buffet supper which was served. Miss Gibbs wore a graceful frock of black georgette and diamante and a coatee trimmed with soft grey fox fur.
