“BLUEBIRD” REJUVENATED. —Sir Malcolm Campbell’s famous racing car “Bluebird,” which has been almost completely rebuilt since he set up the world’s land speed record at Daytona last February. The new engine has twelve cylinders, and is expected to develop 2500 h.p., which is 1100 h.p. greater than that of the old engine. It is of the same pattern as that used in the aeroplane which won the Schneider Cup in 1931. Sir Malcolm and Mr. Taylor, one of the builders of the car, are seen discussing the drive transmission of the rejuvenated racing car.
