A NEW KING OF THE AIR. —The new American all-metal monoplanc, “The Sky Chief,” in which Lieutenant-Commander Frank Hawks, U.S.N., will shortly set out to make new flying records. The mackine has a 700-h.p. engine and a non-stop cruising range of 3000 miles. The machine is equipped with a “Robot pilot” device, which automatically steers it when flying at 200 miles an hour.
