Centenarian Jockey Dead
WORKED FOR PITTANCE, BUT DEFT HUGE FAMILY. United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, Jan. 25. The death has occurred of the Bcrksliireman, John Faulkner, aged 104, the world’s oldest jockey. He was twice married, and leaves 32 children. Faulkner was associated with horses all his life, working from dawn to dark and for little pay. He once received threepence for riding a horse into a place at Epsom.
