Three Different Fires in One Building
CORONER SUSPICIOUS Per Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night. Comment on tho suspicious nature of a lire Was made by Mr. E. D. Mosley, Coroner, at an inquiry into an outbreak on September 14, in a shop and dwicllinghouso at 323 Madras street, Christchurch, occupied by Mrs. Jessie Mason. “The whole of tho facts surrounding this fire are of a highly suspicious nature,” said Mr. Mosley. “There arc three fires in three different parts of the room all totally disconnected and nothing to account for their origin. Tho whole thing creates an air of suspicion. I am unable, however, to bring in any verdict other than that the premises were damaged by fire. ’ ’
