The committee of the local Plunket Society held a most enjoyable dance in the hall on Monday night The function which was well attended, especially by the young people of the district, was organised to raise funds for this sub-branch. Mrs. Kearney provided the music for dances, extras being given by Mrs. C. Stanley and Miss Signal. A dainty home-made supper was supplied by the branch members.
