Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their salo held on the 24th inst. as under: —
We submitted a good yarding ot' slicep, comprised chiefly of lambs, to a good attendance of the public. The inquiry for lambs was particularly keen and wo have to Teport a total clearance under the hammer at prices satisfactory to vendors. Quotations: — Shorn wether lambs (small), Gs 3d to Gs Gd; shorn wether lambs (good), 7s Gd, 7s 7d, 7s lOd, Ss 3d, Ss Gd to 10s; shorn ewe lambs, Gs Gd, 10s; Woolly owe lambs, to 10s 9d; 2-th. ewes, 13s to 14-s 2d. Pigs: Stores, 13s to 14s; light porkers, to ISs; slips, 10s.
