Another Warm Day
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. Tho depression in southeastern Australia has deepened and moved southward somewhat, but a moderate anticyclone still covers the Tasman Sea and New Zealand. Forecast ; Winds variable and mainly light to moderate southeasterlies prevailing north of Kawhia and Napier, elsewhere southeasterlies. Seas (N.Z. waters) : Smooth to moderate generally with a southerly swell on the east coast. Eastern Tasman Sea : Light to moderate south to cast winds and smooth to moderate seas. Weather fine almost generally with a warm day but moderate night temperatures. Some scattered showers are likely in the far north and northeast.
