Cheaper Money
INDIA WILL MAKE HUGE LOAN CONVERSION.

The Government has decided to launch a big conversion scheme involving three loans, the aggregate amount of which will be fifty crores of rupees. This decision was taken after the success of the new 4 per cent. 1943 bonds, the issue of which was over-subscribed yesterday in ninety minutes after the list was opened.
A crore is ten million. The total loan is therefore for 500,000,000 rupees.
