A woman barrister is shortly to plead a curious divorce suit in Paris. Her client is petitioning for divorce solely on the ground that his wife persisted in slimming until she has become a mere shadow of her former self. The husband declares that his iovo has "slimmed” as w r ell, and that he can no longer live with the "shadow.”
