OPENING OF ST. BRIGID’S CLUB 1 .The newly formed St. Brigid’s Tennis Club was officially opened on Monday when there was a large attendance of players, representatives being present from Palmerston North-and from every tennis club in Feilding. The visitors were cordially' welcomed by Mr. G. E. Pollock, president of the club. Apologies were received from the Hon. J. G. Cobbe, M.P., and the Mayor, Mr. C. E. Taylor. With perfect weather conditions and the courts in excellent order some good tennis was seen during the afternoon.
