London Wool Sales
Messrs. Levin and Co., Ltd., have received the following cable from their London agents, dated .January 23, 3933: “The auctions are proceeding at the level of the opening day and cata logues are being well cleared. As at present arranged, the sales will close on February 8.
“The following prices are current:— Merino: Super, llpl to 123 d per lb; average, 93d to 103 d. line half bred. Super, 56/58’s, 113 dto 12d; average, 10Jd to lid. Medium: Super, 50/56’s, 91d to 103 d; average, 8)d to 93d. Coarse: Super, 48/50’s, 73d to Sd; average, 6d to 03d. Fine crossbred: Super, 46/48’s, 63d to 7id; average, 53d to Gd. Medium: Super; 44/46’s, 6d to 63d; average, 5Jd to 5Jd. Coarse: Super, 40/44’s, 33d to Gd; average, 5d to 53d. Low: Super, 30/40’s, 53d to Gd; average, 4id to s}d. Pieces, 43d to 53d; bellies, 4d to sd; locks, 2d to 3d.”"
