From Our Own Correspondent. Personal. Mr. T. Herbert, of the local railway staff, has been transferred to Lower Hutt and left on Saturday last to take up his new duties'. Six members of the Woodville Bowling Club comprising Messrs C Forbes, W. Galbraith, R. H. Morgan, J. Morgan, R. Offwood and N. H. Raivson left Woodville yesterday for Napier to compete in the pairs bowling tournament being held there during Carnival Week. Cricket. Continuing their match against Mangatera at Danncvirke on Saturday Woodville wero successful in obtaining a four-point victory, winning by an innings and 73 runs. • In their second innings Mangatera, who were 111 runs behind on the first innings, failed badly and were all out for the small total of 38 runs, Friis being the only batsman to make any sort of a stand, scoring 17 runs. Bowling for Woodville, Burlace secured five wickets for ono run, Charles 2 for 7, Nicholson 1 for 9 and Gillespie 1 for 16.
