Hinkler Seen by Skiers

Interviewed en route to London, Captain Hope said that Hinkler circled seven times over a party of skiers at Diablerets, apparently trying to gain height to cross the ranges. Nine feet of snow have fallen since there, and the machine would now bo invisible.
Despito the conviction that Hinkler reached the Alps a search is being continued iu the Forest of Otke, near Auxerrc, owing to peasants’ belief that they saw an aeroplane like Hinkler’s passing on tho night of January 7.
