CONSERVATORIUM DIRECTOR LONDON, Dec. 24. Mr. Ferguson, acting Agent-General for New South. Wales, who is calling for applications for tho position of director of tho Sydney Conservatorium of Music at a salary of £I2OO and travelling expenses of £3OO per annum, states that already 12 applications have been received, including those of two knights. A committee of Englis*experts will make the appointment.
