Great Benefit Concert
The Grand Opera House entertainment, which will be held on Friday night, continues to attract attention and interest is growing daily. A splendid programme has been arranged and patrons arc assured of a great night. It is rarely a visitor gives his time as Mr. Harry Dawson is doing to tho organisation of such a function to benefit a city to which he docs not belong, and we appeal to the generouis public of Palmerston North to support this concert on Friday. The small sum cf Is will admit to any part of the house; children, half-price. Fifty per cent, of the gross proceeds have been promised the Mayor’s Relief Fund, and the balance will go to the Salvation Army Christmas Cheer (Ensign Thorne’s Fund). His Worship the Mayor will preside.
