She hopes to resume her flight at three o’clock to-morrow morning; Will Probably Ereak Her Own Record Received Wednesday, 9 p.m. , LONDON, Dec. 14. If Mrs. Mollison maintains the speed indicated by the latest messages through Paris she will probably beat her own outward record. Preparations aro being made at Croydon for her reception. Bertram’s Plane Crashes LANDING-GEAR AND PROPELLER SMASHED. SOURABAYA, Dec. 12. Attempting to take oft' at four o’clock this morning for Medan, Sumatra, Captaiu Hans Bertram’s aeroplane, too heavily loaded, failed to rise, ran into a ditch at the end of the field, and crashed. The landing-gear and propeller were smashed. Captain Bertram and Mr Allen were uninjured. Bertram Will Start Again Received Wednesday, Midnight SOURABAYA, Dec. 14. Bertram’s monoplane will bo dismantled here and return to Darwin for a fresh start after tho record. The whole of tho undercarriage was wrecked. The stowaway was John Dodson, aged 20. He was born in Tasmania. He declares he had no special object in the flight except that ho was anxious to make a nico trip. He never thought of endangering the lives of the pilots. Tho polico are sending . him back to Australia.
