All Saints ' Children's Homes
All Saints’ Children’s Homes are really in need of funds to carry on, and. the street stall—sweets, produce, etc.— which the committee intend holding in Palmerston North next Saturday deserves the whole-hearted support of city folk and country visitors. The committee has an extensive district to cover, and the demands on the homes are numerous and ever increasing. Therefore, every little assistance is very welcome—whether in finance or donations of food. A stall with a varied assortment of goods should bo particularly attractive to housewives on Saturday. Numerous competitions will also be held. There will be one for a sponge sandwich (plain), and another for a butter sponge sandwich (any filling). Goods may be left at Mr. Nor* they’s, grocer.
