Another Wages Agreement Reached
Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night.
An agreement on all points with the exception of a clause referring to underrate workers, which has been referred to the Arbitration Court, was reached in the industrial dispute between the Canterbury master makers and employees, hoard in tho Conciliation Council to-day. The minimum wages have been fixed at £4 17/6 for foremen, £4 7/6 for journeymen, £3 12/6 for albourcrs, and 6d. per hour for time worked earlier than the scheduled starting time. Provision is made for tho employment of female apprentices.
