CHEAP RAIL TRIP
On the principle of community service the Railway Department is giving facilities foT easy, cheap holidays to the owners, the general public. Again it is the turn of folk in Napier, Palmerston North and district to enjoy the opportunities of a change of air and scene —a pleasant break from work-a-day affairs and worries. This refreshing respite will be given by the special week-end excursion to Wellington next Saturday. The special train will leave Napier at 11.20 a.m. and Palmerston North at 3.36 p.m., arriving in Wellington at 6.22 p.m. The return train leaves Wellington at 6.5 p.m. on Sunday. Passengers may hold over their return journey until the 9.20 a.m. Wel-lington-Napier express on. Monday if they so desire. This trip gives delightful views of fresh farming landscapes, wooded highlands, valleys, rivers and the sea. The city offers a variety of entertainment for Saturday night, and a choice of sightseeing jaunts on Sunday. In addition to this pleasure there is the human happiness of meeting relatives am. friends. Other details are advertised in this issue.
