Oroua Bowling Club
ROSE SHOW ADMIRED Yesterday afternoon quite a large number of visitors accepted the Oroua Bowling Club*s invitation to view the club’s property which just now is looking at its best. The beautiful show of roses was greatly admired, while the well kept bowling and croquet greens set in their surroundings of artistically laid out gardens, enabled visitors to appreciate the extent to which the piactical interest of members of the club is applied to make the property a real beauty spot. Both bowling and croquet competitions were conducted for the benefit of the visitors who were made most welcome. The ladies of the Croquet Club served afternoon tea at the club’s pavilion, the excellent accommodation giving cause for the paying of generous compliments to the committee and members of the Oroua Bowling Clnb.
